Fantastic insight as to some of the drivers for pay day loans and cheque cashing business models in the US. Regulators need to learn more about these drivers to develop sound policies fit for the unbanked. The same goes for new payment providers eager to attract this segment of the market… What about being able to cash in social benefits cheques earlier than the paper format? So simple but enough to be the deal maker.
